Its been months since I blogged about anything but something just sparked my blogging spirit back. Unfortunately it is not a positive thing.
First of all, the title can already give you an idea about whats happening. MAXIS has messed up my bills!
Well, the story starts like this. I got a new phone on my birthday, the nokia C5. As a phone newbie, I never keep up with phones. The last phone before the C5 was my nokia 6020!
Hence, upon receiving the phone, I am introduced with services such as watching videos online, using GPS on my phone and alot other stuff.
Without me knowing, using the internet without any data plan IS FRIGGING expensive!
Imagine 10MB of transfer with a 3G speed. thats like 10kb for RM0.10 hence you end up with RM10 for 1MB and RM100 for 10MB. Well, that was my mistake.Imagine using 30MB in 10 minutes. You WILL be in deep sh*t and too late for you to know. Cleared my bills after that and vowed never to use 3G on my phone AGAIN.(and GPS. I'd rather stick to a book map lol). This was all back in September.
I was surprised when i received my November 2010 bill, accounting up to RM340 after rebates here and there. I was expecting it to be the amount i subscribed for because i always check my unbilled amount charges before the bill. Calling Maxis customer service for more than 5 times to resolve this issue is not a nice thing. AND to wait for my detailed billing to reach my home would probably take years*sarcasm*. I was told that my "dispute" bill would come in within 14 days. I requested it on the 16th of OCtober and WHAT DAY IS IT TODAY?! TODAY IS the 3RD OF DECEMBER. which means its about 17 days. I called customer service and they ask me to wait one more week!
OF course I would like to resolve this issue fast as i am still a student and now i would have to dish out another RM300+ to pay my maxis bill or in a way, their mistake. Hence, i went to a maxis centre in Pyramid to get my detailed billing which cost about RM10( MAXIS YOU SHOULD COVER FOR THIS COST AND DOONT BILL IT TO ME). Upon checking the detailed bill, I saw that my internet charges include charges from the 27/09/2010 bill and totals up to about RM320!This should have been in the October bill! How can a mistake like this happen. totally wasting my time and effort going around. I shall head to a maxis center and ask for rebate! But definitely they cannot rebate my time and effort!
